 NIM SOFYAN:

 2/8 lik ve 2/4 lük iki mertebesi vardır.

 İki adet birim zamanlı ve iki darblı (vuruşlu) usûldür.

 It can be 2/8 or 2/4. Its rhythm is DÜM 1, TEK 1.
Nim sofyan

 SEMAİ :

 It can be 3/8, 3/4 or 3/2. Its rhythm is Düm 1,Tek 1,Tek 1.

Semai

  SOFYAN :

 It can be 4/8, 4/4 or 4/2. Its rhythm is DÜM 2, TE 1, KE 1.

 Sofyan usûlünün en çok kullanılan 2. mertebesi :
Sofyan

 TÜRK AKSAĞI:

 It can be 5/8. Its rhythm is DÜM 2, TEK 2, TEK 1

Türk Aksağı

 This was used by Hacı Arif Bey firstly. It was reordered by İsmail Hakkı Bey and called “Süreyya” (his daughter’s name). However, it is still called “Türk Aksağı” today.

 YÜRÜK SEMAİ :

 It can be 6/8, 6/4 or 6/2. Its rhythm is DÜM 1, TEK 1, TEK 1, DÜM 1, TEK 2.

 Vuruluşu:DÜM 1, TEK 1, TEK 1, DÜM 1, TEK 2 şeklindedir.
Yürük Semai

 DEVR-İ HİNDİ :

 It can be 7/8 or 7/4. Its rhythm is Düm 1,Tek 1,Tek 1,Düm 2,Tek 2.

Devri Hindi

 DÜYEK :

 It can be 8/8 or 8/4. Its rhythm is DÜM 1, TEK 2, TEK 1, DÜM 2, TEK 2.

 This is the most common usul used in our modern times.
Düyek

 AKSAK :

 It can be 9/16, 9/8 or 9/4. Its rhythm is DÜM 2, TE 1, KE 1, DÜM 2, TEK 2, TEK 1.

Aksak

 9/16 is called “Yürük Aksak” or “Çifte Sofyan”. The slower one is called “Aydın”. 9/8 is called “Aksak”. 9/4 is called “Ağır Aksak”. All music pieces in Ağır Aksak starts with “Anakruz”. Anakruz: To start a piece of music from anywhere other than its beginning. .

 EVFER :

 It can be 9/8 or 9/4. Its rhythm is DÜM 2, TE 1, KE 1, DÜM 2, TEK 1, TEK 2.

 En çok kullanılan birinci mertebesi:
Evfer

9/4 is called “Ağır Evfer”.

 RAKS AKSAĞI:

 It can be 9/8 or 9/4. Its rhythm is DÜM 2, TE 1, KE 1, DÜM 2, TEK 1, TEK 2.

Raks Aksağı

 AKSAK SEMAİ :

 It can be 10/16, 10/8 or 10/4. Its rhythm is DÜM 2, TE 1, KÂ 2, DÜM 2, TEK 2, TEK 1.

Aksak Semai

 This was used in many pieces of Turkish Music, like “Saz Semaisi”, “Nakış Semai”, “Köçekçe”, “Oyun Havası” and many songs.10/16 is called “Curcuna” and 10/4 is called “Ağır Aksak Semai”.

 AKSAK SEMAİ EVFERİ :

 It can be 10/8 or 10/4. Its rhythm is DÜM 2, TE 1, KÂ 2, DÜM 2, TEK 1, TEK 2.

Aksak Evferi

 DEVR-İ REVAN :

 It can be 14/8 or 14/4. Its rhythm is DÜM 3, DÜM 2, TEK 2, DÜM 3, TEK 2, TEK 2.

Devri Revan

 Bu usûl Beste formundaki eserlerde,Mevlevi Ayinlerinde ve Şarkılarda kullanılır.

 It is used in some songs and Mevlevi Ceremonies.
